Broadway Palm Launches Three-Concert September Music Series Beginning Sept. 4

FORT MYERS, FL — August 26, 2026 — Over the course of three weekends in September, Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre will present a series of concerts that span three distinct eras of popular music, featuring more than a dozen of Southwest Florida’s most accomplished musicians. The series, which begins Sept. 4, showcases the talents of musicians who have collectively performed with members of Steely Dan, Yes, The Moody Blues, and other iconic acts, in three separate productions: Yacht Rockin’, My Boomer Generation, and 80s REWIND.

The series opens Sept. 4 and 5 with Yacht Rockin’, a six-piece ensemble paying tribute to the smooth, jazz-infused rock of the ’70s and early ’80s. The band, led by drummer and musical director Darrell Nutt, includes James Albritton on guitar and vocals, Matt Baxley on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Hunter McDaniel on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Jennifer Mazziotti on saxophone, and Steve Friedman on bass. Together, they will perform hits from Ambrosia, Toto, America, Michael McDonald, Gary Wright, Steely Dan, and Christopher Cross. The collective experience of these musicians includes work with artists such as Glenn Frey and Counting Crows.

Yacht Rockin’ performances are scheduled for Friday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 5 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The following weekend, Sept. 11 and 12, brings My Boomer Generation, a five-piece ensemble that celebrates the songwriting and distinctive voices of artists like The Rolling Stones, The Band, Paul Simon, Rickie Lee Jones, Neil Young, and Carly Simon. The band features Darrell Nutt on drums and musical direction, Susie Hulcher on bass and vocals, Rick Howard on guitar and vocals, Hunter McDaniel on keyboards, guitar and vocals, and Jennifer Mazziotti on saxophone. This production promises to evoke memories and emotions through timeless songs that have become part of the soundtrack of a generation.

My Boomer Generation performs Friday, Sept. 11 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 12 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Closing the series on Sept. 24 and 25 is 80s REWIND, a high-energy seven-piece band that recreates the power and spectacle of the 1980s. The band features Darrell Nutt on drums and musical direction, Susie Hulcher on bass and vocals, Sarah Hadeka on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Will Kaiser on guitar and vocals, Ray Nesbit on guitar and vocals, Matt Baxley on keyboards, guitar and vocals, and Jennifer Mazziotti on saxophone. Their repertoire includes songs from Peter Gabriel, Blondie, The Cars, Phil Collins, Bryan Adams, Eurythmics, and Madonna. The musicians’ collective credits include working with members of AC/DC, Journey, Boston, Cheap Trick, and The Allman Brothers. Notably, Kaiser and Nesbit are also the frontman and co-founder/guitarist of Floyd Nation, a popular Pink Floyd tribute production.

80s REWIND performances are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, Sept. 25 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

All concerts feature live vocals and instruments, with no pre-recorded tracks. Tickets are available for Dinner & Show or Show Only options.
